On April 19, 2025, LSAF held its inaugural fundraiser to kickstart its mission of providing scholarships to deserving students. The organization is currently accepting applications for its first round of scholarships. Eligible applicants must have graduated from a Laredo high school and possess a minimum GPA of 3.5. The application window is open until June 20, 2025.

This initiative represents a community-driven effort to invest in the educational aspirations of Laredo’s youth, aiming to reduce the financial barriers to college education and promote academic excellence.
